7. CCTV, Monitoring and Client Security Systems
Where S2 Tech operates or accesses CCTV, alarm, access-control or monitoring systems on behalf of a client, the respective POPIA responsibilities will depend on the particular arrangement.
In some circumstances the client determines why and how personal information is processed and S2 Tech acts as an operator on the client's behalf.
Clients remain responsible for ensuring that their own use of CCTV, biometrics, access-control systems and other surveillance technologies complies with applicable law.
8. Sharing Personal Information
We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to:
- authorised S2 Tech employees;
- security officers;
- technicians;
- control-room personnel;
- authorised subcontractors;
- armed-response or operational partners;
- equipment suppliers and manufacturers;
